Australian Institute of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Studies Research Grants
The Australian Institute of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Studies is providing funding for research grants. Councils are encouraged to promote the grants to their communities and stakeholders.
The Program will fund research across a range of areas in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Studies, such as history (including family and community history), politics, law, public policy, health (social, cultural and environmental aspects), biological sciences, education, Indigenous knowledge systems, linguistics, social anthropology, archaeology and the arts.

Applications close 11 January 2010.
